Serendipity Apothecary - The Handmade soap and body product Company

Just a little about me.

Hello my name is Lisa Griffiths and I am a fully qualified beauty/massage therapist, reflexologist and infant massage trainer. My involvement in making handmade cosmetics and soaps began a few years ago whilst working at the sanctuary in Covent Garden. Inspired by the salt scrub treatment on offer there and wanting to recreate a (better) home version I developed the recipe for my Renew Scrub & Soak, with Lemongrass and Ginger essential oils,  which if I do say so myself is amazing!  I had always enjoyed making lotions and potions for myself, family and friends to help care for their skin and treat minor ailments (such as eczema) and general aches and pains. So encouraged by my family and friends I began selling my products to the general public at craft fayres and local markets and this year opened my shop at Blakes House Craft Centre.

My philosophy is to make products with integrity, to give  maximum benefit and real value for  money.  I use ingredients that are ethically sourced and packaging that has been made from recycled materials. None of the  products are tested on animals and most things are vegan friendly, (I do use goats milk and honey in some of the products.) I use a  range of vegetable oils and butters including: Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Almond oil and Rosehip Seed oil. I use essential oils, plant extracts and botanicals to fragrance and colour my products and to provide them with their healing properties. I do not use any synthetic preservatives or petrochemicals.

Bespoke soaps, scrubs and body moisturisers can be made to suit your individual needs and taste. Please contact me for more information:
